do you remember that peach colored fridge?

When one thinks of Italy, images of cobblestones and rustic facades typically come flooding in. The historic town of Orvieto (where I spent the Summer photographing for the newly published 'Putting Art (back) in It's Place' ) in this sense, is quintessentially Italian. But I spent the Summer in this white-walled and colorful space, inhabited by the lovely Karen. That peachy poppy fridge, bright red modern sofa and vibrant wall decor bring me back to those hot Summer days just as much as the Renaissance artworks and cappuccinos.
